Kamp Kiwanis and Lifestyles for the disabled work in partnership to offer 2 weeks of summer camp to their participants from Staten Island

Lifestyles Kamper
This partnership between Kamp Kiwanis and Lifestyles for the Disabled is unique in it's programmatic style. Kamp Kiwanis offers the facilities and program whilst Lifestyles provides the counselors in the cabins. The counselors from Lifestyles are Lifestyles staff from SI.

This program runs for 2 weeks at the end of the summer season with 2 sessions. The sessions begin on a Monday and the kampers depart on a Saturday morning. Lifestyle participants load the bus in SI in the am and arrive to Kamp around 4pm. Kamp Kiwanis staff is ready with snacks and songs ready to start the week. Each day at Kamp Kiwanis is thematic and all programs revolve around the daily theme. Each week at least one day revolves around another country.
